That’s why CACF, together with our partners at the Asian American Federation, co-founded the Equity Budget Coalition (EBC)—now a 120-member-strong force dedicated to securing budget justice for AAPI New Yorkers.
As a lead organizer, CACF bridges the gap between community-based organizations and the halls of power. We transform local needs into a unified legislative agenda: the AAPI Equity Budget.
By leading statewide advocacy days, rallies, and press conferences in both Albany and NYC, CACF ensures that the Governor and State Legislature recognize AAPI New Yorkers as a priority in every fiscal cycle. Working alongside legislative champions like Sen. John Liu, AM Grace Lee, and Sen. Jeremy Cooney, we are committed to advocating the health, language access, and culturally responsive resources our communities deserve.
