Public Service Internship Program

CACF is committed to creating a career pipeline for younger AAPI New Yorkers interested in pursuing careers in policy advocacy.

Launched in 2024, the CACF Public Service Internship program was created to provide opportunities for our ASAP Youth Leader alums to explore careers in government and public service.

Our Leadership Institute partners with government offices in New York City to place our alums in policy internships that last the duration of the academic year. To date, we have placed our Youth Leader alums in internships with New York City Councilmember Shekar Krishnan and New York State Assemblymember Steven Raga.
