Across New York City, immigrant communities are facing growing threats to their health, safety, and access to basic human needs by harmful policies and increasing fear.

In January 2026, CACF released its new community brief Restoring Trust, Protecting Health: Policy Actions to Support Immigrant Communities in Crisis, which details the chilling effect immigrant communities in New York City are currently facing and how AAPI-led and -serving community-based organizations are ensuring vulnerable New Yorkers are getting the healthcare services they need.
