CACF partners OCA-NY and UA3 are continuing the celebration of AAPI voices by bringing Illegal: A New Musical - a rap-rock musical about the Chinese Exclusion Act and AAPI history - to Chinatown/LES at P.S. 130 at 143 Baxter Street, NYC on Friday, June 17, 2022. Purchase your tickets here.

Skyler Chin is the Creator and Sita Sunil, the Co-Composer, and they recently performed a full-length (90-minutes) version of this musical for 1200 people in Manhasset on Long Island. They were commended by Congresswoman Grace Meng for responding to the rise of Asian Hate throughout NYC and America.

This musical concert performance seeks to respond to pandemic-era anti-Asian racism with positive narratives by and about AAPI individuals, emphasizing perseverance, solidarity, and hope. Please note that the June 17th music performance will be 60-minutes long with selections from Illegal.

Purchase your tickets here.
